Not necessarily, no. Paying rent at home is a thousand times better than renting your own place.
I mean sure you don't get as much freedom, but you have people to help you with basically anything that might come up.
That's worth the loss of the freedom, which in my opinion is overrated and by the time
you actually leave you start to realize how great you had it. Unless your parents suck.
