That is why you and 99% of the American public should never be allowed to reproduce, speak, or participate in the political system.
@Kain: Its fucked up, I've been watching this and several other bills for a while now. I've been deeply conserned about the goverment and country as a whole. I'm not sure when the American people became the slackjawed idiots they are but they did and now they've fuck themselves and whatever it was that America used to be.
The best part is 98% of people had no clue this bill was on the table or what it meant, nor do they realize internet censorship and intellectual property right bills are in play and likely to be passed that will fundamentally alter the internet. Sites like Facebook, youtube, and even LG will have to close up shop if they pass since the host and site owerns will be held responsible for content. Not to mention someting like a video of you singing a copyrighted song will be grouds to fine and imprision you.
I'm hoping that the people will wake up and start doing something. Realize their political parties are shit and can't be trusted, that ideology means nothing if you don't bother to ensure the system its meant to operate in and the rights of the people are extinguished. Of course its fa more likely people will just watch some debates call each other evil for disagreeing on minor issues and let the world burn around them. Hell , the economy is a wreak but we all just sit around bitching there are no jobs rather than doing any thing to fix it because we don't want to cut spending or raise taxes.
Though admittedly the title of the article is a bit much, considering that its just a budget and its hasn't been signed into law and the application to US citizens is unlikely and its not actually a secret bill since all bills are published dailly.
