You have to pursue a degree. You can't just say computers. There are computer science degrees, computer engineering degrees, graphic design specializations, system administration programs, ect.
Regardless to have an actual degree that allows true upward mobility and a range of job qualifications you need a bachelors degree which will take you about four years. You can pursue a technical degree that only requires two years of study but it will be highly specialized and limit the jobs you can qualify for.
Two year degree = you set up wireless networks for business and stuff
Four year degree = you can work for Google or Microsoft
Typically for computer science or engineering you need to take several programing languages, calculus 1-3, differential equations, and a host of other things
