I guess Gaming Gutter actually called the cops on him for attempted hacking.
The cops showed up at 3am. Anyways he says he's totally innocent and they know it too.
Oh and that they thought it was him because of an old proxy or something?
Anyways...
He just wanted me to share that with you. (Since he has no internet atm)

Police show up all the time for pretty much anything.
Like calling cops on neighbors who blare music so loud their door knocker bounces up and down.
@Raivu: No problemo!
All hail kitty pig.

Campus police shot a mentally handicapped grad student last year cause he came out of a room holding a table leg after they busted down his door.
But Raivu, if they press charges and bring evidence against you via internet history and such things without seizing your computer or get info that your computer would not provide tell your lawyer to ask for it all to be throw out. Police go to facebook, email services, internet providers, ect and ask for that stuff but don't get warrants and its standard procedure for net people to hand over everything cause they're dumb asses. Technically cops need warrants to invade your privacy which you have a constitutional right to so at that point the case would get thrown out for lack of evidence.

It wasn't anything serious. I didn't do it so I let them search everything. I do have a court date though just to clear everything up. And apparently something happened to the new site. There was a hack scare under the same proxy I used to use. They addressed the issue as gaminggutter though. Exciting shit to add onto this rough week.

Encrypt your HD with a hidden OS and dualboot to another OS.
There is no way to prove that the windows on your HD exists. So if they accessed the OS you dualboot in they would think it's your primary OS. As long as you keep that clean you're fine.
