Is anyone around here experienced with creating your own websites? IE, buying a domain, setting up a website, inserting coding and everything?
First thing is first, I got dreamweaver, but don't know what to pick as the new file. HTML? CSS? PHP? D: I need pointers!

HTML is pretty basic. You can learn that pretty well in a weekend like me. It has some limitations but CSS (Cascading Style Sheet) will remove some of those limitations and all you put things where you want.
Like you want an image in center bottom, you can do that. In regular HTML, you really can't.
PHP, I have no idea. I haven't begun to dwell far into that. I just know HTML and some CSS
I sometimes download null-premium templates, and then mess around with the coding to fit what I want.

PHP is generally more advanced than HTML and deals more with server side things rather than web design.
HTML is the main language you're going to be using in web design, and will build your basics, then you improve with Styles and scripts.
One of the best places I've found to learn Web Design in general is W3Schools.
Hope that helps a bit.

I have DW CS4 and I don't have a clue on how to use it. Even though I've had a project on it during ICT classes in high school
