I plan on getting one. Right now I'm thinking the i would be fine with the i7 2630Qm 2.0GHz processor. Is it worth going to the i7 2720 / i7 2820? Or am I not going to be seeing a big difference? Also for the memory I was planning on getting the 6GB DDR3 at 1600MHz. Is it worth upgrading to the 8GB?

I would go all out and get the m17x I got the m15x fully maxed got it played on it for 1 week returned it, it couldn't even play rift and wow over 30 fps I got the 17x fully maxed and it plays everything beautifully don't waste your time with the 14 I went though hell with the 15 it was shit plus if you return it they try to peg you with a $400 restocking fee I was able to speak to a supervisor and get the charge nogelcted.

Hmm interesting, everything I have read said the 14 was better than the 15 and 17, also I would like the 14 since it's more portable, for college and on the go stuff. But idk.

Don't trust their site the 15 was supposed to be good, I now understand why people call it dell hell x3 it will save you hours of being on the phone getting switched to the wrong department and even your calls being dropped, it was almost not worth it but I'm glad I did, if you just need it for college and surfing, no real gaming then its perfect but if you want to game somewhat I'd say the 17 or even the 15. the 15 just wasn't enough for me as I game a lot and more cpu/gpu dependant games.
A word of advice always have a paper and pen with you when you call.

Well currently I only play Minecraft, extensively. My friend from school has the 11 and he gets 100fps easily on minecraft, he recommended the 14x but as you said, he talked about the horrible customer service. lawl.

That's a good one Is the one I have now.
I personally have 8gigs but 6gigs is fine.
It's really if you are going to play now a day games(next gen games), If not then the 6gigs + i7 2630Qm is good
But if your going to game I'd go with 8gigs + i7 2820. It more if your going to use them
