Got all of my hiragana down.
Now learning my katakana. So many box like things. @w@
I'm playing on learning one set of letters a day.
Today was Ta Chi Tsu Te To
Then after I got my katakana down, on to kanji.
This way I can be fluent in reading moon speak many years from now if I keep studying.
OTL Tell me it isn't impossible guyz?

Its not like I have anything better to do with my life.
Besides we'll see if I'm still doing it a month or so from now. Lol
I just think I really want to learn for the following reasons:
If I ever go to Japan I can actually ask people where the fuck I am going.
With out hopefully sounds like a R-tard.
I'll be able to play and read all the shit I want to, that drives me nuts because I can't.
Useful when I applying for a job somewhere.
It gives me something to do.
I want to be able to say I speak another language. XD
All hail kitty pig.

Mmm why don't you start studying it too?
Practice ? Real Kana
This site is good for practicing your hiragana/katana.
My suggest is learn one set of letters a day.
Like A E I O U or Ta Chi Tsu Te To
That way you don't overwhelm yourself.
Here is some decent resources:

Ahaha. I took it back in 11th and 12th grade but forgot most of it.
I had a horrible teacher in 12th grade who didn't really speak it well.
She was a really nice lady though.
Half of her classes failed. x.x

Do you have a DS? If so get My Japanese Coach NDS Game, it has been really useful for me to get hiraganas and katakanas (written and spoken).

I will try this out Clover!
I hope I get good results in the end.
So being able to understand the base could lead to me being able to understand full speech?

@Bradley: Lol well I don't have a teacher atm. I'm teaching myself. I want to take a course online!
@Shieru: Yes I do have a ds! Thanks for the tip I'mma get it! <3
@Ethan: Well I suggest learning your katakana and hiragana first. Then moving on trds and a bit of kanji.
Then after learning some words, learn some basic sentence structures. Once you have those REALLY down.
Move on to learning how to conjugate verbs maybe?
I didn't learn hour to conjugate verbs until my second year though.
All hail kitty pig.

Patient, I must be, the answers will arrive then.
I will try my best to keep up with it. I usually get distracted with everything.

You've never heard of Japanese? o_O;;;;
Or do you mean katakana and hiragana?
Hiragana and katakana are two of the three "alphabets" of the Japanese language.
