I am trying to download a RAR file but i dont have a program that can open it or something. ANy one know what I need? something free, ofcourse

this is not working, i download, and it asks me where to put it, as in it doesn't make it's own file, then when i finish install, the program is found no where, and i still cant open my file

If it says it does on the programs website, yes.
If winrar AND 7zip dont work though, your computer has some serious problems.

Did you try right clicking the file then choosing the option "extract"?

Could be an exe disguised as a winrar.

Doubleclick it > It opens up an installer.
