Any good free silent remote desktops viewers?

ive been using teamviewer but it gets old having to get the new password off the computer you using remotely everytime its restarted. my school used a silent vnc but ive tryed vnc but cant get it trk period. so any suggestions on something simple that works?

Set a static password with Teamviewer so you don't keep having to fetch a randomly generated one.
