Right now i have a 7 year old computer with 2GB ram 160GB total memory and is running at an alright past but not like brand new and it was originally windows xp But i put Windows 7 ultimate in it, and its still slowing down, i think its probably because i have windows xp in it but i cannot delete it, also i have 2 anti viruses in it Kaspersky internet security and Bit Defender. Any way to speed this computer up?

The thing I really like about this, is its toolbox, It has all kinds of great OOW programs for controlling the windows OS, One of my favorite = Smart ram, Just run deep scan a few times and you save up a ton of ram (Though this problem only seems to affect me since for some reason, My graphics card`s EATING my memory alive. Nxdsync, If I have it up for more than a day, it jumps to 700 megs of ram in use, Then up to 1,6 gigs of ram in use, and just rapes windows.
Also for win7, Its better if you increase your pagefile system capacity abit, Also, I suggest you get more HDD space, 160 gigs I couldnt live with.
Mind taking a screenshot of your resource monitor and show what is eating up all of your ram slowing it down?

Go buy a can of compressed air, spray out all your fans, and inside your computer.
Dust buildup and heat can cause your computer to slow down.
Also, get rid of both Antivirus, and instal Microsoft Security Essentials.
Why can't you get rid of XP?

Torrent? Thats a REAL activation code, There is no torrent. Just click on the link I gave you and it will take you to the website, And, I dont use teamviewer. sorry.
Its just some bug in the drivers for 64 bit processors since the hardware / original drivers are designed for 32bit.
For some reason there is a bug and it keeps whoring more and more and more memory as it stays idle. I just need to wait on them to release an updated driver for the 64 bit compatibility.

You should avoid any online forums like this one. Or the internet altogether. Actually, just don't go on your computer period.

Yeah, there's kind of the whole motherboard bottleneck problem with a computer this old.
No matter how hard you try, it will only be so fast.
If you want a new computer, and feel like trying to build one, check out this neat little guide right here:

That's not how technology works.
HD TV's can play HD movies at full HD.
HD TV's still play Standard Definition at Standard Definition.
HD TV would still play shitty graphic card output, as shitty graphic card output.

No anti viruses or crap that says that itll improve your computer in anyway. Its bullshit, it takes processing power for those things to run and it slows the fuck your computer down. Also, keep it as cool and clean as possible (physically) and make sure your only running what your currently using.

Actually. Thats where your wrong.
Advanced system care 4, Is not an antivirus alone, has features for optimizing your pc`s priority settings for which programs, Frees up excessively used ram, and other features.
It essentially, only has antivirus as a small part of the programs functions, Thats why it isnt called "Advanced System Antivirus" and instead is called "advanced system CARE"
