Whats the cable called that attatches from the headset to the controller.

I have a razer chimaera 5.1 and my fucking cat chewed the cord so i cant talk to people.

Get some electrical tape and fix it yourself.

Cut the cord up abit away from where it is damaged. and peel back the black rubbery coating on the outside to expose the colored rubberycoated wires, then just cut them clean to make sure the wires arent all messsy looking and such.

Repeat this for the other side of the cord, Removing the damaged area from it entirely.

Then just peel back the black rubbery outside of the wire on the other side of it, and peel back the individual color coated wires to expose the metal inside, and match two wires together, twist the exposed wire until it has a slightly good solid twist, then wrap it with electrical tape.

Repeat this process for any remaining wires in the cord, then bend the cord back against the other cord, wrap electrical tape around it, then fold it forward and wrap even more electrical tape around it (Maybe even a ziptie under it) to secure it better, this way the wires arent under tension when the cord is pulled or tugged in any way. this way your repair will not be pulled apart.

Since the last part is abit hard to explain. Heres some MS paint for you to secure the wire after you have re-connected the damaged wires.
