Atheists care for Christian pets after the Rupture : News Article
Christians believe in the second coming of Jesus.
They die.
But where do their pets go?
The Atheists offer to take care of them after the Rupture to make sure they go to good homes after their owners have passed onto heaven.
I don't know if this is a big "Fuck you in the face" from Atheists saying "You'll be gone, and we don't believe in god but we'll still be here because nothing will happen to us like you think it will. Here let us take care of your cats."
or if it's Atheists doing a nice thing for christians and didn't think it all the way through.
Either way, it's neat to see Atheists helping out Christians, and Christians finding peace with Atheists on the middle ground that is, whuld have thought, their pets.

In the Catholic tradition animals have no souls so your animals would die and that would be it and I'm fairly certain only one protestant faith believes in rapture.
But I'm thinking this is a little of both: if people were "ruptured"(don't believe in it) that would be proof their faith was correct and atheists would be taking care of animals to save face.

Yeah, read this in the paper too a few days ago. I think it's brilliant. It's an old dude who thought it up as well, so I'm thinking they just got a bunch of eldery people out of a home to stop taking their medication and make predictions about the end of the world to distract the public from real world issues.
I am steady killin' fools.
