You guys are hilarious, but completely unhelpful.
I'm thinking Kathy Bates was in it, but maybe not. At one point the girl escaoes into the snow and makes it to a phone booth and a chase scene ensues.
Correct answer gets my approval and my lg, which is next to nothing, but this is really bugging me. I'm thinking it came out in early 90s.I am steady killin' fools.

Kidnapping+Kathy Bates+90's movie also makes me think of Misery, but pregnant woman=/=novelist...
