Edit current locations on fallout new vegas? [reward if found]

so yeah, i totally fucked myself on FONV, i continued the last quest without a save so i cant go back.

im aware that you can edit game saves as in your level, what items you have, etc,etc.

But.. Is there a way to edit the current quest/map you are on?

ex., say i want to go to the place "Atomic Wrangler Casino" (map id : 00110f2b)
so i can be in this location rather than another "world"

(the final quest tele's you to another map)


Is there a way to do this for the xbox 360, i alreayd have a device that can mount my harddrive to my pc.

if someone finds me a way to do this i can give you all my lg, or gaia. the most gaia i will give you is horns.

What you could do is once you start the final quest for whichever faction you went with, save.
Then edit your gamesave so you can move your character in another location on the map.
I could edit the save for you if you like.

Well, this is simple to do on pc, just use console. If you could somehow edit your savegame using the editor, you can place a player instance in the place you want to be, or to be super easy you could transfer save game to pc, play and go to the cell you want to, then transfer it back to xbox. this all of course relies on if you can transfer saves between games, and i have no clue if that's even possible.
