It helps staff keep tabs on your past misdeeds. And so if say we retire, the people who come in after us will know what you did, why, when, and be able to see it so they can see how you've grown.

Believe it or not, I am human and I will die, Google is human and he will die, Thomas's programming will eventually stop being updated by Alex and God, Torian will probably end up trolling /b/ until he loses all sanity, Jen will probably end up in a coma where she prepares food naked while all of LG throws money at her, Clover....Not so sure what happens there, C0ffin....he'll probably write a book on politics and science and nationally debate me on television about the existance of something off the wall.

So yes, mods die, retire, and the AI program known as T.H.O.M.A.S. will eventually stop functioning.
