so in 2 weeks it's my 1 year anniversary with my gf and I want to get her a promise ring.

Don't buy her a silver ring, silver is junk. It won't last long and after two years the colour will become really ugly, polishing it won't work. Go for gold or white gold.
Sterling silver is cheap.
The second one you can put custom names on it, the walmart you apparently can't.
Unless you buy it upfront.
The second one requires mailing/shipping, so it's got the added shipping fee, and then you'll have more added because they're assholes.
It's cheap for a reason. But hey, if you don't want the ring to last, go ahead.

Silver actually does last for a decently long time.
It's not going to tarnish ASAP.
I actually suggest getting a stainless steel ring or titanium.

I'd go with something more sophisticated, like this:

Clean and simple white gold rings with diamonds/diamond cuts(they make it look like it has diamonds on it)
It's a good investment and you could always engrave a date and/or names inside.

Nah. Just don't see the reason why anyone would get a damn fake ring. If you're getting engaged, get a damn engagement ring. If you're not, don't get a ring.
