The songs are heading somewhere really good, but you need a better recording setup. I'd sugest investing in a condenser mic, a drum midi controller, and a 6.3mm jack to usb converter. I also don't think a metronome would hurt either. And when you record, don't play all at once. Record yourselves jamming together once. Then record yourselves individually while listening to the jam recording thorough headphones. Be sure to record yourselves playing multiple time so you're sure you've gotten the best recording.

You can mic drums pretty good usually.
You have to go with direct input on every thing else. A lot of modern amps have a out jack that isn't the amp output that you can use a $10 chord to go right from the amp to a mic jack on a sound card.
I'm with the guys though, you have to do it individually, not that doesn't mean you can old school it and record together if you have fancy studio but yeah most don't. Grab a click track, get a jam over it, and then you each have to sit down and do a few takes. You'll know the best one and can splice a few together even sometimes. Of course by that point you're able to double tracks, pan audio, ect.
An on that note, one of you has a laptop or computer with a mic jack I'm sure, get audacity and with one cable you'll be able to record everyone one at a time(assuming you're using a single mic on the drums, which can work. It won't be amazing but it will be as good if not better quality that current sound on recording). With that process you lay down drums against a click track first then head set the next person that records to play against it and just repeat till done.
I like the feel, keep at it!
