So I'm assuming the thanks buttons is basically like saying +rep? Should be obvious, but I missed the implementation of this system.

thanks button only gives you one rep.
if you want to actually "rep" someone, (not thank them) click what looks like a deputy star under the post right next to the thank button.
depending on how much rep you have is how much you give. i give like 13 rep when i rep someone because of how much rep i have.yup this is really me gamersoul AVA
