I'm running Ubuntu 10.04 Lucid Lynx and have been trying to figure out how to get my webcam working with Skype. It comes up in Cheese and everything is fine there. My webcam is a Logitech Quickcam Pro 5000 or a Logitech Quickcam Pro for Notebooks. And yes, I know Google is my friend but it hasn't come up with a working solution yet. Any suggestions?

Which is odd because Skype runs fine and I can audio call and chat but just can't video. I saw this kind of response in previous findings but most were outdated so I figured I'd might as well ask and see if there was anything new.
