So every Wednesday, I have to tutor people in Math as part of my service to Mu Alpha Theta...
Sooo, this year I tutored some people right?
Just know, these kids are dumb as fuck. How dumb are we talking? Well, from my personal experience...the chick didn't know that two minus five made a negative three, and she had to use a calculator to do so.
Another dumbfuck did not know that the square root of four was two, and he guessed that the square root of four was one. What the fuck?

It's all about how the brain functions. Left/right brain, to keep it simple, but it's a lot more in-depth than that. I personally am great at math, and it took me forever to realize that anyone could be bad at it. I understood most of it from tutoring so many people. I realized that my mental strengths (math, science, etc.) were their mental weaknesses, and my mental weaknesses (English, history, etc.) were their mental strengths.
So it's really not something you can understand without being in their shoes. They're not stupid (at least, not all of them), but their brains function and process information differently.
