Anyone heard of this site? Just curious. It's really old (one of the first gaming websites), so IDK if it's popular anymore. It's practically been pwned by GameFAQs, but it's still quite active, so I was wondering if any of you guys have managed to stumble upon it. I remember using it frequently back towards the beginning of the Internet's popularity, when it was the top gaming resource. Just wondering where it stands in pop Internet gaming culture today.

I used GameFAQs, when it arrived on the scene, 'cause GW was filled with a lot of false codes. That is to say, overcomplicated. e.g. instead of "go forward, go right, go forward" it would be something along the lines of "go forward, go left, go backwards, go right, go forward, go right, go forward." You end up in the same place, but it's extra work.
I still use the GW forums, though. I can't stand the CNet forums (GameFAQs, GameSpot, etc.); if anyone hasn't noticed, they're all the same forums/messages but through different templates. They go too fast. As soon as you post, it's on page 10, which defeats the purpose, imo.
