[TuT] Hacking Flash Games w/o Cheat Engine [FIRST THREAD YOSKI >:3]

Sup yo, this is zzGoWR's guide to hacking flash games WITHOUT cheat engine ('cuz dats just noobish).

What you'll need

Firefox (3.x)
Sothink SWF Decompiler 6.0 build 610 (PM me for link if you can't find one... hint: teh pierit bhey)
Visual Basic 2008 Express Edition (once again, PM me for link... same hint too lol)

Now, once we got all da tools, we can start!

So, first step is to find the flash game you wanna hack...
(addictinggames.com, newgrounds.com, etc.)

Step 2 is to right click the page (if you can find the .swf link in the source then its the same thing) then press the "see page info" button (firefox only will have that option, chrome or w/e will have view source) then press the button that says Media, its on the top of the window that just opened, once you do that look thru those links until you find the one that matches your game (for example, i am using this guide on a game called Penguin Massacre, so my link was "http://armorgames.com/files/games/penguin-massacre-4964.swf")

Step 3 is to download the .swf, so if you're in Firefox, on that same little window where you found the .swf link, press the button in the lower right corner of the window, then save it to your desktop or something, idc where you save it lol

Step 4 is to right click the .swf that you saved, then go to open with, then press the SoThink SWF decompiler and it'll open

Step 5 now on the right side of the decompiler window, you should see some folders or some shit, go to Action (56), then click the MainMovie one

Step 6 scroll down until you see something like "life = 100" or "ammo = 200" or anything that falls into that category

Step 7 open VB2008 n then make a new form, add a Shockwave Flash Object to it and 4 or 5 buttons (depending on what cheats you want in it lol)

Step 8 MAKE SURE YOU RENAME THE SHOCKWAVE FLASH OBJECT TO "game" WITHOUT THE QUOTES OR THIS WONT WORK!!!!!!!

Step 9 Change the source of the SWF object (double click it, then a new tab will appear that shows the source of everything) and you'll see this



Edit the link that is surrounded by the black box to the .swf link that you found in step 2, after that edit the functions of the buttons to whatever it is that you want it to do!
