More like anti-fad.
The only people I know who've heard it are Raivu, and some dude in my Instrumental Tech class.
I just like annoying noises.
Disco is neat.

More like fad for the people who try too hard to be original.
Because we all know hating popular things make you cool.

I don't hate popular things.
There're just much more un-popular things.
Also, most new popular stuff is rap, which I hate listening to.

I liked popular things at one point. Then fan-girls and obsessive morons got to them, glammed them up, obsessed over them, and generally ruined it all for everybody else.
You know who I"m talking about, the "followers" who don't like people who like to be different and away from the herd. The people who hate us because we're actually taking steps to try new things and discover new shit for ourselves rather than follow the "mainstream". I can't stand mainstream. It's all the same.
1. a kid singing pop to older women about relationships
2. a black guy singing about love and relationships
3. a white guy screaming into a microphone playing the same annoying shit over and over again
4. 3 other white guys who sound exactly like that one white guy because that voice is so easy to do
5. emo fags singing about relationships
6. a woman screaming rebellion and to be free
7. country
But to answer your question before YYZ, Dubstep is a very hardcore techno/trance that you can get high to. I'm not even going to fuck around with that one. One of the biggest movements of dubstep is it's flowing and chill nature, yet remaining hardcore enough to appreciate even when you don't smoke.☜(* x *)☞FOOL ON COOL GENERATION

I love how you emphasize points that millions of other people have already made.
Country music sucks, but it's not overrated, you can't really call an entire genre of music overrated.
Look, at first all of you people saying that you hate mainstream was cool and all, but now there are so many of you dumb idiots posting comments like "This shit is so much better than Justin Bieber."
I don't thinks its a matter of mainstream fans hating people who don't like what they like, they don't understand what they like, just like we don't understand why they like mainstream.
Quite to the contrary It's you who bash people who like mainstream music because you think it's always because they're trying to be cool, that's not always the case, I understand that trying to be cool is a horrible reason to listen to a certain song/artist.
But the thing is, people bashing mainstream is such a tired act, I've seen too many videos where the highest rated comments are "I hate people like Justin Bieber who get famous when he doesn't even do anything." As much as I hate Justin Bieber he has talent, that and his good looks are reasons why he has so many fans, people ALWAYS say he is talentless and is only famous because of his looks.
If he was talentless he'd just scream random shit and not have any fans, no matter how pretty he was.
Thing is, Justin Bieber is a legitimate artist, whether you think he deserves all of his fame or not.
I like some artists you could call 'mainstream' but do I give a fuck if you think I'm trying to be cool? No, it's music.
TL;DR Followers don't usually hate people who listen to non-mainstream they just don't understand the music, although some do, and will fight to defend their favorite mainstream artist, such as you did with dubstep.
People who are 'rebels' and listen to anything that isn't mainstream and post millions of Bieber must die comments are the most vicious, idiotic, self loathing douches.
VERY TL;DR Opinions, learn to accept them.

nah, I'm an honest logical debater so I read the entire thing.
And I never thought I'd say this to you, but you're absolutely right. I've got the balls to admit when I'm wrong. I never looked at it from that point. It's very common to the war on religion and politics.
Nobody understands Anybody so we're not going to get anywhere except deeper in hate for each other.
I especially never thought I'd be debating music like this. x_x
I personally hate Mainstream because it all sounds the same to me. Rubbish. Just like dubstep and everything sounds to people who love Mainstream.
I don't care what everybody else listens to, I just personally think it sucks, just like you think my music sucks.
And I"m accepting of our differences, so I'm just going to drop the debate at that.☜(* x *)☞FOOL ON COOL GENERATION

That's a good point too, mainstream music does sound similar, because once a band makes it mainstream millions more do the same thing, hoping the get the same success for themselves.
But yeah, simply opinions.

I wish I had a dime for every time I heard a band imitate Nickelback or Disturbed.
I'm noticing a lot of older 90's sounding music coming back though.
California Girl sounds a lot like it'd have been in the Pokemon 1st movie soundtrack back in the 90s. (oldschool brittany spears)
Boy bands are coming back
Cheetah Girls are making a turn around
Rihanna is taking a Faith Hill turn.
Gaga is taking a Manson/No Doubt direction.☜(* x *)☞FOOL ON COOL GENERATION

Nickelback was all the rage here in 2005. Now they're where they belong, off the charts.

I've never once posted on any video or song anything about it being better than Beiber.
Nor did I immediately dismiss Beiber.
I listened to a few of his songs, decided I didn't like him, went back to listening to my Daft punk and Limousines.
I've never rejected anything for being mainstream. It's just that mainstream isn't my style anymore.
Except Owl City.
I'm a sucker for Adam Young.

Victory to me.
