With my Strength Pure, should I train on chickens till level 20 or what? When should I move onto botting on cows?

Well, Chickens to 15-20 would be ideal, because then you won't die as much, hopefully.
If you charged right into cows, it is most likely you would die a few times, but if you trained a bit beforehand, it might turn around because you'd kill them before they could kill you.

Yeah. I trained up to 25 Strength on Chickens. Got me 80k from the feathers too. Now I just went back to cuttin' yews and makin' my money.

you want to be jewish rich on RS through skilling, Runecrafting is the way to go (but only if you hit double nats.) Otherwise, woodcutting and fishing are both excellent money-makers.
