OK!
So. I have some problems.
I just got a Sony DCR-SX44, aaaand it's like, amazing. It shoots in 1080p and looks all amazing and stuff... BUT.
When I upload it to my computer, the video is duller and the colors are duller than on the camera.
WHY???? What am I doing wrong?
Then I try processing it in Vegas which makes it a big mother fucker file. So I have to CONVERT it in xilisoft platinum, and THEN upload it to youtube, where the quality has become so shitty it looks webcam-like.
Anyone know how to fix this problem while still making sure it doesn't take 3 days for it to upload to youtube???

You defiantly have the wrong encoding settings. Just keep tweaking them until you get it right. Also, what file format are you encoding it in?
