Just take some time to answer three questions, it'll take a very short amount of time. I've been surveying people with these for some time, but Tom gave me the idea to actually post. Thanks.
1) How good do you think you are at lying?
a. Good.
b. Sort of... I'm okay.
c. Bad.
2) How good do you think you are at detecting deception by others?
a. Good.
b. Sort of... I'm okay.
c. Bad.
3) What's your opinion on radical truthfulness? Radical truthfulness is where you respond and state anything with the truth, and nothing but.

Rationalizing a lie and committing to it can cause more stress. Just look at the court cases where a soldier lies about how a civilian died. Years later, he shoots himself because he perjured and because of guilt.
Besides, who's stupid enough to lie to themselves and believe it? Next, you're going to tell me that that same person believes fast food is healthy.

1.A - Very good, but I try to avoid it.
2.A - I've always had a good sense of telling when someone is lying, not to mention the fact that Psychology interests me quite a bit, so I've read quite a few books on how lies are constructed, etc...
3. - Honestly, It's a good concept. A harsh one that would cause an increase in suicide and a decrease in homicide. But the TRUTH is it'll never happen, so why bother with questions like these.

Mainly because these are questions that I've been focusing on. The last one was because I'm thinking of implementing that in order to change my perspective and my reputation.

2) A (Like Plobby, I too am extremely fascinated by psychology and sociology. I can tell exactly what a person is feeling just by being near them and usually can feel it too ).
3) No, I do try and keep honest, but some things are best unsaid.// Signature

3) I'm for radical truthfulness; I try not to lie because the truth is easier to remember, lies just complicate things further.

3. I don't care either way. Lying can make some things easier, as long as done in moderation, and not overly exaggerated. i.e. don't say you were on the spanish world cup team if you weren't. But do say "yeah you're right" once and a while when you don't think they are. It can end a debate that is pointless, and make the person feel good.
