Just ask me. I have decided to start advising friends on how they can improve their dress/wardrobe, because the ladies absolutely dig my style.
Starting tips:
- Invest in V-Necks, especially if you are skinny
- For those on the larger side, try to buy clothing that can fit to your body but not be too skintight. Fit clothing actually make you look skinnier
- Lowtop shoes = your best friend
- Name brand doesn't mean shit. Don't let the name of your clothing define you, I can easily get away with rocking a V-Neck with $5 sunglasses from Wal-Mart and matchin' Vans. This outfit got me about 20 compliments in one day. Chyeah.
EDIT:
-Oh yeah, no baggy clothing! Slim fit jeans, or straight leg jeans only! Personally, I feel that skinny jeans are meant to be worn by girls only. Not guys.

Aren't you straight?
Haven't you heard? "Never let the straight decorate.*"
*This includes, but is not limited to: rooms/venues/clothing
Although, kudos on not posting retarded shit, actually posting things that are in-style
- 29 May. 2010 09:40pm #3
how about haircuts?
- 29 May. 2010 09:43pm #4
Dude, Frostbite. I'm straight, but I got style with clothing. The ladies dig my clothing style, and the fact that I actually keep up with each season's trends and whatnot. Also, I admit I am a tad bit metro or so I have been told by multiple people because I like cleaning up nicely.
Master - I don't know anything about white people hair, sorry. ONly black people hair.
- 29 May. 2010 11:58pm #5
Instead of vnecks use plaid shirts with 3 buttons undone.
And skinny jeans that are not skin tight and torn
Also ray bands are a lot better then shitty 5 dollars.
Converse kick vans ass.
NOW STFU AND GET INTO STYLE AND STOP LOOKING LYK A FGGT

male fashion Advice = Girls like naked guys
- 30 May. 2010 12:21am #7
@ Prince_Persia
Girls like naked guys or shirtless guys. This only falls for you if you are decently attractive with abdominal muscles.
- 30 May. 2010 02:01am #8
@Frostbite: Your comment was uncalled for. Gay men aren't the only that are "In style" or "Fashion knowledgeble".
@Tats: Wut about jeans for larger people. Most of their pants are baggy, looking at my brothers pants.

No, my comment was complete, common knowledge.
Gay people are usually better decorators/stylists than straight people. It's not new information.
I love how you'd comment that when I say something against straight people (which, in my post's case, was more like empowering gay people) yet EVERY TIME someone bashes gays on LG, you say nothing.

Oh, please, grace us with your amazing plain t-shirt, wide-leg jean style advice.
- 30 May. 2010 02:54am #12
That's like saying "Everybody knows women are better in the kitchen then men." It's stereotypical.
I only commented on this because people were letting the comment go by. Whenever someone bashes gays, lots of people get angry with them. I'm not just gonna add to the fire when all in all, my input wouldn't matter.
And you're only internet gay. I'm sure if you acted like you did in real life, you would't still be "in the closet".

I came out two weeks ago, thank you very much. Sorry I didn't go around spamming it to LG.
OH, that includes to my parents, beeteedubs.
Only one small group even ended up caring in my school...
- 30 May. 2010 03:13am #14
I love how you only reply to one of the things I said.
And I still have not seen more than one thread bashing gays, yet almost every post you make seems to end up either saying gays are better than everyone or you're stereotyping straight guys to stupid men who just punch stuff.

Cause being gay some how instill into you magic decorating artistic super powers? That the biggest load bull shit and you know it. There are tons of straight interior designers, hair stylers, artist, ect that are famous while there are a handful of gay ones. Sexual orientation has no bearing on any of that and you know it.
@ thread: There is no fashion advice in saying "wear a plain t-shirt, some decent jeans, sunglasses, and converses/vans" that's throwing out what guys wear when they don' want to deal with getting dressed and/or rehashing the greaser look without the hair. "flannel with same things" is just saying go grunge. None of this is in style its just standard since I don't know the 50s?

You asked no questions. And that was the last thing I read, so that was the last thing I remembered.
Ntm you seem to think you know exactly what I was doing, who am I to tell you differently, dear?
And there aren't threads on it, just tons and tons and tons of posts using the words "fag", "gay", and in some rarer cases "dyke".
Oh, and I only posted in this thread because I recently noticed how... stylishly challenged most men are. Like, even if they think they are.. they're usually not...
- 30 May. 2010 03:31am #17
Fag, gay, and dyke are all commonly used as insults, but they are also used as simple slang words. Although they do have a negative connotation, and you yourself used the word gay in your signature.

Exactly, it's like using the word "retard" around a retard. DON'T DO IT. It's rude and annoying.
I can call myself gay and other gay people who are gay BECAUSE I'm gay. Just like black people can say "*****." It's not discrimination if you're doing it to yourself.
- 30 May. 2010 03:39am #19
That has always been some bullshit. I mean, it doesnt make since.
Since i'm white, I can call all of my friends crackers, but if a black guy says it, it's racist?
Uh, no.
If you wanna be called by something, not gay, not ******, then don't fucking use the word to name yourself that. People follow by example, and by doing something and then telling everybody else not to do it, you're just being a hyprocrite.

Think about it. Gay is an adjective, describing either a joyous or homosexual person. Though it's understood to mean homosexual now. So using it as an insult is wrong. By calling myself it I'm not insulting myself, I'm describing myself. Just like you'd describe yourself as straight.
HOWEVER, if you call a straight person that, then you're using it in a derogatory sense and is therefore extremely rude.
If I call another gay guy gay, he knows it's not an insult because, HELLUR! I'm gay too. So it's not an insult. It's like if a mentally handicapped person said, "you're retarded." then you're like, "umm... ok."

Everyone's comments are so ... biased.
Because everyone ... has an opinion ... dear.
- 30 May. 2010 03:59am #23
But, you are being two faced about this whole thing.
On one side, you're all "Yay i'm gay wahoo!"
On the other side you're like, "Don't call me gay, that's insulting!"
I'm just saying, you either hate it when someone says a word, or you don't care when the word is said.
And also, gay people can use the word gay as a derogitory remark.
Someone could walk up to you and say "I may be gay, but you're all out faggy!" and mean it in a completely insulting way.
I have gay friends, and I call them gay. Hell, half the time I call them ******s. They take it as a joke. They call me nerd all the time, because I am a nerd. You just can't accept that other people can say you're gay, and mean it in a completely innocent way.
Fucking adjectives, how do they work.

Umm, I'm talking about people using gay as a derogatory remark, not innocentlly.
There's no fucking way you ca read the posts on here and think "Oh they're using the word fag NOT as an insult!"
I've already said, it's different if you're using it as an insult, which is how straight people typically use the word gay/fag. Don't even try to deny that.
If someone said, "I like boys." and you said "You're gay." Then that's not an insult, because they ARE. If someone says "I like Jonas Brother's music" and they say, "You're gay." then it's insulting, because I'm gay, and I hate the Jonas Brother's music, but that shows you're assuming something about gay people that would be seen as negative, and using the word as an insult.
- 30 May. 2010 04:07am #25
guys leave the gay's alone.
- 30 May. 2010 04:14am #26

-Black V-Neck or brightly colored V-Neck (salmon color/ baby blue v-necks for the win!)
- Slim Fit Jeans or Straight Leg Jeans

I do not like V-necks, On anyone.
I don't think you're advice is universal, it's only based on one type of style,
still, at least you have a good attire. :]I am steady killin' fools.
