What is with people and torrents?

Let a web-rat explain. Being the illegal little Mexican bastard geek that I am. And considering that I am privileged enough to be in the top percentile of Mexico's economic classes, I have been around computers, internet, and porn for pretty much all my life. And of course, I'm always looking for the best way to rip off industries (A.K.A. - Warez). So it's natural that after many years of research I've come up with what I believe to be the best and most supreme way to download.

Now, the problem with torrents is that download speeds are usually quite slow, or chances are that you will not find what you are looking for if it isn't remotely popular. Not mentioning the fact that if there's no seeders, you're basically fucked.

Now on the other hand, finding direct downloads ensures you get the highest speed possible (The server's speed (Which tends to be ridiculously fast) + the highest speed your internet connection can 'afford'). So with websites like RapidShare (Which are simply flooded with Warez), You get the benefit of getting the highest download speed possible (considering that these are industrial servers and have an extremely fast 'download' speed available), not to mention the fact that when a file is uploaded you get various mirrors created (within rapidshare) so you can access the host that is closest to you (Therefore guaranteeing the fastest speed possible). So at that rate, basically everything you want is not too far away. However, the only downside to this method is that in order to download as fast as possible, you MUST have a premium account (Which might be a bit pricey, but considering you're in this website it shouldn't be too much of a problem to hack a PayPal and scam it off).

So at the end of the day, Direct-Download sites are far superior than torrents. I just took this opportunity to educate LG's users rather than just flame you. This will hopefully end with questions like "Why are these files always on RapidShare/MegaUpload/Etc...?"
