The contest is over!
Here are the steps you should have taken.
1) Decode the MD5 and Binary and get "A Poet's Dream s02 e08 7:05"
2) Wait for the second hint
3) Decode the second MD5 and get "M.S.N"
4) Go check my M.S.N status
5) Notice that it said "B.S.G" and sometime it said "Watching Battlestar Galactica"
6) Figure out that that is the show where the hint is hidden
7) Download episode 8 in season 2
Skip to 7 minutes and 05 seconds
9) Listen to the woman recite this poem "From the darkness you must fall. Failed and weak, to darkness all."
10) Google the poem and find that it is by Kataris who is a famous poet in the show.
11) Find out that the poem is from the book "A Poet's Dream"
12) Figure out that was the poem I was wanting
13) Post it here
It is contest time again! Whoever can get the answer gets all of my Lgg. If you want good prizes for next weeks contest then you will have to donate.
This is a hard one, it is easyer than last weeks, but still a challenge.

It's an MD5'd string. Looks pretty useless, since that's one-way encryption.
If it's "way harder than that," that means there's probably a salt, in which case I don't see the point in trying. No one can crack an MD5, or people would do it, and rainbow tables wouldn't exist.
So without way more hints, this is pointless. And totally not worth 30k LGG. >_>

The point of these contests is for fun. And I was hoping that people would notice that it was a MD5 string and Google "MD5 decrypter" in which the first result would be the following website. Which can successfully decrypt the string. That was part of the contest. But since most people just stopped after what you posted I figured I would have to post this step.
MD5 Decrypter.com, MD5 Decryption, Free MD5 Decrypter, Security, MD5 Hash, MD5 Security.
Edit: Just refreshed the thread. Somebody figured it out! Now use that bit of information to find the answer.Last edited by Elliot; 05 Mar. 2010 at 12:13am.

my initial thought is that it's a show, and I have to go to that time in the 8th episode 2nd season and see what they say, except i can't find anything about a show named a poet's dream
