Any tips on fixing it?
I've heard you can take out the hard drive, format it through a computer, re-insert it and its fixed.
Not much point if all data is erased. :/

It's obvious bc you leave the ps3 on for too much, or your room is simply too fucking hot.
After you fix it, just get the coolers for ps3.
My room is usually cool so i havent had ylod since like forever. Never had one,doubt i ever will

Yeah, I do leave it on over the night to download stuff sometimes.
I knew I should've got those coolers but they seemed like a waste of money at the time.

put the sleep timer on i leave mine on at night to and the sleep timer automatically shuts it down for me this way i don't over heat it while i'm sleeping

Damn, how do I format the HDD? I haven't got an external HDD.
And I'm sure the failure rate for the 360 is much higher than 3x the PS3.
