Yes, i believe so. The analogy compared the fact that you seem to reference this site constantly in conversation, to the bible; a book that those of the Christian faith have patterned their lives after. Perhaps it was wrong of me to assume that you possessed, at the very least, a rudimentary grasp of the religion despite the fact that i vaguely remember your complaints at being forced to attend bible school or some such activity.

I've only referenced this website in two conversations, one of them being a few days ago, and the other quite extensively a year ago. The average every-day run of the mill christian does not usually reference the bible. Most christians are solemn about their faith in which it is only expressed by attending church and possibly some artifacts and/or references around their household. Assuming that an atheist possesses the knowledge about the christian faith was quite foolish. Attending a bible school does not necessarily mean anything is getting done. For example, if you know people like Patience Phillips, you would know that simply because somebody attends school, that doesn't mean they're gaining anything.
