I suppose. There's a lot of hype. It looks fun, but if you're into the style, I hear most people are just better off playing Magic instead.

I started playing this last December and I lost interest a couple months ago. I'm excited that they finally released the iPad version and it seems to run well. I'm also excited for the Naxxramas event that is coming up soon. I tried to get back into it this weekend with the novelty of playing on my iPad but I was just bored and felt I couldn't build a good deck. I'm sure I'll get hyped when the Naxx event is launched. It helps that my boyfriend is still into it.

I was surprised to see an iPad port. It seems like the perfect device for the game though. Shame I don't have one, or that'd probably be how I'd play it.

My friend whom I play magic with regularly played it and motivated me away from it.
Sounds like you have to grind pretty hard to get a good deck build, and clerics op?https://discord.gg/TvN6xUb ~ chat on discord pls.

Not sure if this is a necro or not, but I would like to point out that this game is actually pretty fun.
Super satisfying to beat someone in the game and they have done a lot of re-balancing so it is a fairly even playing field.

I started playing recently and I have to say it's not bad. Despite not having to buy anything to "play" you do ultimately have to buy some card packs to start winning or just log tons of hours getting your ass kicked. Still very easy to pick up and it's something you can do while doing something else.

I used to play MTG but quit because of college expenses. I couldn't keep up after Gatecrash game out .
I have only play a LITTLE Hearthstone, but it's eerily similar to MTG and the good thing about it is that it's virtually free. Unless you want to boost up and just pay for packs (which isn't required because you CAN get them free) that is.
I'm not really good at it yet though because I don't know the cards well enough. Feel free to add me on Battle.NET though. It's Stuka#1666

I don't play Hearthstone as much as I used to, but I kind of want to go back and buy as much as I can before things change after I saw the Standard and Wild updates. Probably not a good impulse buy, though. I still need a bunch of the solo adventure cards.
