I bought 2 one I kept on the carpet in my room it lasted me oh id say 2 and a half years then it got majorly overheated because I left town for about a month or so and sometime during that month my little sister decided to turn it on and leave it on.....when i got come the case started caving in as if there was a dent in it or something and all the inside metal pieces were burnt I think it could have easily started a house fire now I have an 800$ xbox 360 lol
