When does a new thing come out that people DONT hate?
They take what you guys say and use it to improve the product, so I don't think there's going to be any downfall happening

It's not so much as the console, more so how they announced it. They pigeonholed their gamers, and basically showed off features that, out of the US, gamers can't use. Not to mention that it looks like a VCR.

Yeah I agree with this being similar to Windows 8, but then again I don't really play XBOX myself so it wouldn't really affect me. I'm more of a PS3 guy. This guy is pretty funny though. I wonder how things will be once XBOX One becomes popular. I know with Windows 8, at most computer retailers you can't even buy a computer running anything other than that. The fact that it isn't backwards compatible seems a bit stupid to me, but I don't know all the details.
I don't get tired.

What the hell is the whole fee to play used games about?
I was never a fan of Xbox, a loyal PS fan to the end, but that just seems like the most retarded thing I have ever heard of. It's like they are trying so hard to make it into a PC/TV. Of course people will find ways around it somehow, but that's not the point. Microsoft is starting to seem more money hungry instead of the customer's first complex; and when companies get that way normally everything goes to shit.
I listen for the whisper of your sweet insanity.
While I formulate denial of your effect on me.

Meh, to be honest I kinda like it. At first I thought the design was atrocious and unnecessarily boxy (the latter still remains true), but on second look it has this sort of industrial look that I really appreciate.
Something I truly dislike though is the Kinect accessory. A feature that was highlighted was the ability to turn the console on merely by saying the words 'Xbox, on', this means that the whole console, or at least the Kinect device, is always on. Which also means that it is always watching, always listening, 24/7. Hope Microsoft is ready to see what this 18 year old does at night after a long, stressful day at school Teeehee

I think I can take this into a pretty simple perspective.
Xbox One - Sony's best marketing campaign for the PS4 ever.Gaiaonline Exploit Log:

So I was pursuing some stuff today and discovered a screenshot of a Q&A on the Live site that confirmed my suspicions about how bans would be handled on the One. If you are reported and banned on the One your game licenses are revoked and the system is locked from all thing game related. So the $500 system becomes a paperweight and your $300-500 wort of games become coasters. Which considering how trigger happy Microsoft is with bans you can imagine what this will be like.

It's official, Microsoft just published a complete reversal on Xbox One DRM Policies.
The important parts:
- No more always online requirement
- The console no longer has to check in every 24 hours
- All game discs will work on Xbox One as they do on Xbox 360
- An Internet connection is only required when initially setting up the console
- All downloaded games will function the same when online or offline
- No additional restrictions on trading games or loaning discs
Region locks have been dropped
Maybe they'll rename it "Xbox 180".

I'm done with Microsoft as a console producer.Microsoft has shown their hand, if they can't do all of the garbage they want to this time, they'll try it in updates and in the next cycle. The price point is ridiculous too.
Plus how can you argue with
Sony is on top of their shit again and I expect that they'll stay there for awhile.
