If you do decide to mod your PS3, You can just put PS3 games in, Copy them to the harddrive and play them whenever, Unfortunately if you get the hardware for hacking PS3`s with a firmware above 3.55 its going to cost you a pretty penny, Especially if you live in america.

Holy shit, you have the Limited Edition Metal Gear Solid PS3? Damn, that's sweet. So why exactly do you have so many PS3s?

And yeah, I'ev head about the hardware for that kind of stuff costing a few hundred dollars, and even then it can be unstable and get you banned. It's just like the J-Tag for Xbox.

Jtag if I recall only flashes your DVD drive, When you get banned on a jtag, thats it.

However flashing a PS3 is a pure 100% flash, able to re-write the console ID, unban yourself, Repair YLOD`s and bricks, and more.


From top to bottom,
Top PS3 = For exploiting, hacking, And emulation.
Mid PS3 = For watching anime / movie rips
Bot PS3 = For gaming.
