Im Sure everyone who has played Skyrim and been to Whiterun has seen Jorrvaskr. The home to the guild named The Companions. I believe everyone is susceptible to Lycanthropy except Argonians.
So travel to Whiterun and visit Jorrvaskr, Then talk to Kodlak. Where he will tell you to prove your worth by showing Vilkas what you've got. Below is a picture of Kodlak.
But only use melee weapon, no Spells, The Companions is a group of Hunters not mages. Using magic will have Vilkas respond with some dialogue disapproving of you using magic instead of a melee weapon.
After that you go on doing a few more quests.
After finishing the quest Proving Honor Farkas will mention that Skjor wanted to talk to you, So you find Skjor then talk to him and he will tell you to meet him at the underforge at night triggering the begining to the quest tittled The Silver Hand , wait till nightfall and meet Skjor at the underforge where you will meet Aela ( As the Werewolf ), and prepare to recieve the gift of Lycanthropy by drinking Aela's blood. After that you will go on a rampage for a few seconds in the town of Whiterun, and then thats it! You can now turn into a werewolf once every 24 hours.
Benefits of Becoming a werewolf:
- Durability: Werewolves are very tough, and have a (slight) resistance to normal human weapons. However, they are highly vulnerable to Daedric weapons (Note: In Skyrim silver weapons only do extra damage to undead). Your light armor skill affects how much damage you can resist.
- Super-Speed: A werewolf is incredibly fast and agile, especially when running on all four limbs. Use the sprint button to run on all four limbs, sprinting speed is estimated to be slightly faster than a horse's sprinting speed.
- Super-Strength: A lycanthrope has strength beyond that of a regular human or wolf.
