Microsoft Unbans Banned Consoles

Before anything, I do not care whether you like or dislike Keemstar.

There have been posts on various forums where users are claiming that their banned consoles have been unbanned, so the video has further evidence, at least in writing, that your banned console can get back online.

Rumour is, according to DJ Keemstar, that Microsoft have done this so Anonymous don't attack them, just like they attacked Sony in the past. As always, don't believe anything unless there is an official statement, in which you are very unlikely to get one on this current situation.

Note that this is for flashed consoles, not for JTAG consoles. Trying to connect with your JTAG will just be a waste of time, as well as a KV.

And surely, if it were fake, they would not put their credibility on the line by claiming this to be true.

psn was down because people found a dev console exploit where they used fake credit cards to buy psn shit, like rockband songs/ add ons/ map packs. etc.

The press has a much bigger word of what people see, therefore when they see what the news says (fake information) People believe it and spread it around like wild fire.

Its much like that one news article where it stated that hackers cracked the algorithm of the Microsoft point system (Xbox) and made microsoft lose correct me if i'm wrong but $1.2m in profits due to it?

when in fact was just simple editing to a promotional URL for free 160 Microsoft Points. All you did was edit the URL, and you could use the same Grant URL. And when you make a simple refresher for that URL Thats a ton of free stuff. And the best part was that they didn't hire people to go digging through the records to look for the abusers They let it slide because it would cost even more money just in hope to find these people.

The news said it was a crack, it was just a simple exploit. And there is said to be another one out there, I don't doubt it, There will always be a tiny flaw in any system.

With this it was just word got out that Anonymous IS powerful, and that they will fight for what they think is right. And well microsoft didn't want to fight back, and just gave in. They don't want to lose a battle they already seen was being lost. And Sony being their biggest competitors being taken down like that is bigger then one would think.

I'm not even sure if this guy is serious or not, if this is just some bullshit scam cause I don't have a banned flashed xbox console. but XboxMB and that video both prove that its legit... and I for one trust XboxMB.
