Yeah this is hopefully what I am going to do at Christmas or something to mine...
Except I will change the LEDs from Blue to Red...
- 25 Nov. 2009 04:09pm #6
I would get some purple LED's in there.
How much does this cost to get done?
- 25 Nov. 2009 04:17pm #7Well usually you don't send yours in. Usually you just buy a new one off amazon or something... (Just check amazon.com and half.com)
You can contact the seller and usually request with a certain style and certain color light or whatever...
You can try modding your own but I suggest forking up money for it...

These are the reason the people got banned from XBL.
You can modify the console in any way including re-arranging its "architecture" so long as you don't replace any of it.
Mods like spacers; they lift parts of the interior up in order to allow for better airflow and thus greatly reduces the chances of RROD; are completely safe.
You can prevent the RROD by adding a fan which attaches to the back, and spacing the interior; both can be done by hand and materials cost like £12.
Chuck some christmas lights and bam, you saved a few hundred bucks (:

Wow thats helpful
I'll try to ask my grandma if she can send me some of those LED, fans, airduct, a new case cuz my 360 case has many scratches and a disk drive for more space
Simon, i'll try and do what you said so i will not get banned from XBL
Simple is BEAUTIFUL!
