Here to discuss the PSP Go. I am considering getting one, though I do not own a PSP. I was wondering if it is worth purchasing and what are the differences from the previous models?
Thanks

PSP Go

It's an over-glorified psp 3000 without a place to stick your UMDs in. Someone did a comparison and found that the fact that it's loading the games directly from the drive does nothing to speed it up.
Just grab a psp 3000, it's bettar imo.

Exactly. Its cheaper and more practical to grap the PSP-3ooo. the only difference is that the PSP-Go makes all of your games direct download and that it flips up. its like a crappy blackberry that flips to the keyboard.
its over-rated and since it wont play any UMD, over priced. stick with the classic PSP design.Voted Hottest Male Member

I really want the PSP GO ever since I saw all the cool videos on youtube about it but Its just the UMD slot that bothers me their Isnt one and I have a lot of UMD's and i kinda think its a waste of buying It because your gonna have to virtually download the games and buy those Install game cards for about $20 so idk.. I have the PSP 1000 but I kinda broke It with a hammer ..

I have the sony PSP slim, and I like it, it's great when your on a road trip, and if you forgot your laptop but have your psp, happens all the time, but theres mostly sports and racing games for it. And movies and stuff, I wold revomend buying it, i have a cool case, and this little case that holds like 8 games in it, but yea, get it.
edit: I don't have the psp go but it looks good, I wouldn't have to waist time looking for the games and having to put them in the psp, and you can't lose games this way, I would recomend getting that too.Last edited by Devon; 22 Nov. 2009 at 08:05pm. Reason: Clearifying psp go.

PSP GO's suck. Just get the slim. All the PSP Go can do is flip up and you have to buy games online.

the entire thing the PSP go is idiotic. You can't use UMDs, its operates on a different saving system, the hard-drive isnt that big and half of the games after download have an error. the PSP is pure garbage.
I would recommend you take it back to whatever store you bought it from and get your money back.Voted Hottest Male Member
