Crappy item is only expensive because it is rare. Putting them at 1m will only be an artificial inflation. Supply without demand is useless.

Possible. Or maybe people don't want it. Either or. If you have the money, take a risk and buy a lot in hopes that someone has hoarded them and the price will raise.
