Pretty much.
I'm pretty sure they laid off the entire dev team who made it recently.
I'm not sure why Gaia keeps trying to make games that have nothing to do with their website at all. If the games were any good I could maybe understand, but most of them are just thrown together with Flash game engines/APIs, and incorporate nothing from Gaia into it (such as avatars, the world, etc).

It's like spending time watching grass grow, but worse.
You have to click like 5-10 times each round of a fight.
It's not interesting in the slightest.
Sure the art is pretty nice, but the game play is horrific.
Only reason I'd ever play it is if I wanted to make 50k gold a day through the 1 Essence : 10 Gold convert grant.
But that would be too much effort, grinding and plain boringness.
I only played it for the achievements.
Wow, they did work harrd on it, but they forgot to make it fun and interesting.
Played it for the gold, then I realized committing suicide wasn't worth it.
