Even before then it was never really a war. Just people who didn't like each other. I don't remember any specific groups or anything that were "warring".

I just heard it via one of my gaia friends. It's a rumor that's going around. I was told not to go into the flash games because of it. People were getting hacked from it or something. Fug if I know. I'm just making sure that I won't get hacked If I play one of their flash games js.

This is what's wrong with Gaia's hacking community, and why it fell apart.

The second someone asks for help, everyone just responds "do it yourself", lol. No one helps each other, so it made it so that there was only one generation of hackers, and then it virtually died.

That's actually the complete opposite of why it fell apart.

The reason why it did fall apart is the predominance of how many people had access to things they never found out how to do on their own. People were too generous. Things got leaked. Things got out of hand. And things were ultimately patched.

@ Unintelligible, long time no see & don't be so harsh. Yeah people should experiment on their own but people also need help. Not everyone is like you, and the people we know. They're more like Nova-Rats -- they'll learn just incredibly slowly without help. I'm not saying just give them shit, but helping isn't bad.
