Why do you still play Gaia?

I just want everybody to tell me why they still play Gaia and why they don't. I've been a member for 6 years and still enjoy it for some reason. Some very odd reason.

I've been a member since 2003, so Gaia has been a part of my life for a very long time. I guess I keep going there out of habit, and because I keep hoping they're going to bring that old spark back. I haven't given a shit about the NPCs or plots since the Zurg event, the economy is fucking retarded (can't really get shit on 100k and I haven't the time to vend/exchange/pick up trash all day,) and I can't stand how focused on actual money its become, but I just keep sticking around.

Probably won't be next one for a little bit, playing some games right now, and then I'll rework a simple Towns bot for use with my account gen. There may be a few other things I could work on for release, but not sure if I will.

To easy meaning you use to have to bust your ass to get 1 million now you can just buy a 5 dollar item and get there quick. In a way its gotten harder I guess but easier at the same time. Seems like everybody has rich expensive avatars and your right. My highest priced dream avatar is only like 7mil.

Just to pass the time. It gets really boring if you just sit around watching tv when it's your day off from work.

I did for a while until i realized being poor in that community sucks. and you can't really troll people that much. Actually i think most people there are underage or have something wrong going on with them. You get reported for almost anything which is just completely ridiculous and it costs too much.

As far as the "hacking" side of it. Basically most things you do will get you banned. You can't ever really keep anything nice with it. Even just by logging into many accounts some bullshit is bound to happen which is why I don't even play it anymore.

Maybe someday when I'm working as a Psychiatrist making 10k a week I'll probably by a shit ton of cards and get rich on it and just quit it.

I never really liked the game actually. I like social engineering people by scamming them. Such as that old white rose trick I used to pull with people and sending them that shitty white flower. Those were fun times. And breaking into accounts and looking for what kind of nice things you found. That was the only part that brought me joy.
