They don't have to have a reason to though, they can ban you without reason whenever you want to. If they want to go "We don't like you, so we're banning you" they can. It's not like real life where there are rules and laws and stuff, Gaia Online is their domain, and they are the gods of it. They have devine intervention, and they can do whatever they like with their world.

This is true. I did get banned for drama between a mod and I for telling his girlfriend he was cheating on her with an underage girl. Granted that won't be the reason they ban you. It will be something like "Your account has been banned for -insert what ever reason here-". Though for the most part gaia won't bother with you until you do something worth banning over. Gaia knows my names and IP but I basically got a "As long as you don't do anything terrible, we won't ban you." So Idk I feel like gaia has an understanding between LG and it's self. Now if you've so much as "accidentally" been "given" hacked gold and they know your account name you will be banned.

I've been showing my usernames on Gaia hacking forums for years and still no ban. There is even a few screenshots of me hacking in towns without my name blurred or anything floating around somewhere, but still no ban. Pretty sure it's because I've sunk a couple grand in Gaia since '04 because I was a sealed supplier before I was an exchanger.

But they won't ban people solely for posting a username because someone would just lie about what their account is to get someone else banned. That would be the dumbest policy for them to have.

This, because it isn't hard to lie, hell I doubt that they'd do anything even if it was a screenshot (unless its evident that hacking is going on in the screenshot) since its also very easy to use tamper data to fake your account
