Most people on LG have given up on hacking Gaia, which is depressing. I myself still manufacture but do not use FLPs. I'm going to be posting some on another forum (Because they're against the rules here now) and I'll link you to it when I'm done

I do push out work publicly, just not on LG. I've started a forum ( 323 Forum ) where I post FLPs, and I post link and email lists, and soon source codes, on the Wiki and forum. (Wiki is http://everything323.x10.mx/doku )

Yes, I see no programs you've made there. I see worthless dumps of content irrelevant to most users.
Here, have a shot at a relatively basic project I was going to make. Create a client via raw sockets for Towns 2.0 (if you need more specifications for this feel free to ask). Make it open source. Preferably write it in Lua. Release it with version control/git.
Good luck, champ.

You don't have to use Lua. It was just what I was using for the project. Feel free to use any desired language that can accomplish this.
And raw sockets means make the client using entirely TCP/UDP sockets for the backend of the client. Just a basic TCP client setup would suffice.
As for you not being good at Gaia programming, this is a good way to start. There isn't much left significant on Gaia unless you can actually program things like this.
