I am beginning to think this is a viable gold earning tactic. I see more and more people just handing out hundreds of thousands of gold to people just because it looks like they are putting effort into their thread.

I tried that. I just got 4k from one person. ONE PERSON.
Meh. If you want to, try it. Isn't the best way to earn gold legitly though.

Having a quest thread can be used as a social engineering tactic.
I've done it before, got 500k and an OMG Hat.

I guess its just a matter of how good you are at social...
