It was in an community annoucement before, some look-alike item between a 1mil-100k or something. So yeah, I guess.
People make mistakes... Simply put, there's a thread in Gaiaonline Guides called "Social Engineering" whatever by Obby. Read. That's a general thing, now this trick you're mentioning, someone traded 200k for 1500 by just "forgetting" to add a zero.Quote:

I just realized how much my question makes me sound like I want to scam people xD I don't I just wanted to be on the look out.
Scamming is another form of social engineering.
You have to trick the victim into thinking that what you are giving them is worth what they are giving in return.
Several techniques are as follows; look-alike items, multi part trades, or shortening gold count (Leaving a 0 off of 100000 saves you 90000)
