And according to the graphs, someone is hoarding the shit out of them (lolfail). They're worth under 200g, but they've all been bought up to 400,000g.

People are going to keep selling low. I bought one for under 300, even though the lowest buy price (excluding mine) was like 1m. Whoever's wasting their money on this deserves it for not listening to me.

That's nice. It's still selling for 200, even though they invested millions into it. They obviously don't know how inflation works. So, like I said, they deserve their loss of money for not listening to me.

I bought multiple ones when I noticed whomever was botting them.
The only way to successfully inflate is if the botter gets banned. That's what happened to my Cards account. I was botting the Celebrity Snare cards (back when I first joined LG 1.0). There were 10+ pages of 1g cards (god knows how many pages total).
Here they are now: Item Search | Marketplace | Gaia Online

Listings range: 3 - 30
Price range: 20 - 1000

So, I inflated the shit out of those. My account got banned, and it had at least 1000 of those cards. So if this other guy gets banned, the ones I bought will be worth a lot more than what I spent when I bought them.

Also, they're back down to 300g. Botter spent an average of 1k each. The total inflation of each has only gone up by ~100g. O U botters.

when you inflate something its like when you get a bunch of the same item makeing the price go up and then selling it for the price you bought up to?

Kinda. Inflation is just buying the items to make the price go up. Selling them back will deflate them as you sell them, and thus isn't part of inflation.

In short:
The price of an item is 5g. You buy one (-5g). The price goes up to 10g. You buy one (-15g). The price goes up to 15g. You buy one (-30g).
You sell one for 15g (-15g). The price drops to 10g. You sell one for 10g (-5g). The price drops to 5g. You sell one for 5g (0).
You're back where you started. You just ended up getting your money back.

For math nerds, we wouldn't inflate the item after 15g, because the limit as x approaches 0 of Inflation(x) = New_Price(x) - Old_Price(x) = 0. The example inflations as an easy-to-read rate, whereas a marketplace item would increase at the rate of a fraction of 1g.

Hence inflation only works if the botter gets banned (and said items don't get released back into the marketplace).

there was a glitch in 2008 when it was sent out to ppl who did the event a lot of ppl didnt get the item so if you didnt dont feel left out also its a gay item not worth your time
