I use this all the time, a brief explanation of WoWMatrix

Its an addon management program, allows you to install/download addon and automatically put them into your addon folder
Aswell as, updating your addons whenever a new version is released

Btw, there is a newer addon called Quest Trek (?) it's just a more advance version of the quest tracker, but i think it's better, it marks a route in-game, on the floor, and it also marks on the map where there are enemies higher level than you, and many more cool things. Id suggest getting it!

I think it is i haven't been able to play wow very often but maybe ill google it stand by ill post what i find.
I could find any background info on it sorry.

I used to think wowMatrix was amazing , then I found alot of the addons that I was using through there were pretty close to the bottom end of things . And so , I removed most of the adons that I had from wowmatrix , except for xperl unit frames, and ofc DBM

Replacing all of the other addons with one huge engine that ran as a whole , Carbonite. The QH in it , is much more accurate , and doesnt fly off the handle switching between 4 different quest objectives because you are standing in the middle of all of them , and , if you play on a pvp server , the nifty little oposing faction tracker , that tells you if an enemy player is wiithin a certain radius to you is pretty helpful ;D
