is it worth it?

No. It will be good for the first few months, where you have spent all your time leveling. then you will get to end game where you have to then grind heroics and raids for armor and weapons.
theres better games out there where you dont need to have to pay the subscription fees WoW Demands.

Well to really tell you the truth no matter what it's all based on opinion but I would try a blizzlike private server or try the demo it's free as for what version they are expansion of the game meaning it adds on more material. It's always best to pick up all the expansions if you want to explore the game in it's entirety. As for me I quit during BC while I had a 70 undead rogue, 70 Blood Elf Paladin, and a 70 Orc Warrior. It is worth trying out

I think it is 100% worth it if you like MMORPG's. I have played tons of games and this has remained my favorite for a while. Leveling can get a little boring after a while, but the game barely starts until you get to 80. At 80 you hit all the fun and getting geared and doing hard raids is tons of fun.

You'll get bored of it fast.
Everyone does.
Some just waste more time on it quick, resulting in higher levels faster.
But it's only fun for so long.

No, no game is worth 15$ a month. I'd suggest downloading the game free then playing on a private server.

its not worth it anymore, used to be good for the monthly fee but now its outdated. if you want a mmorpg play aion OR wait until D3 is released. both are better choices.

Wow isn't outdated. It's constantly updating, Ice crown Citadel is coming out in 3.3. So that will be another progression raid. As well as new heroics, tier gear and overall upgrades trk towards. It's very hard to become outdated, thing's can get repetitive. But that's about it. It's not outdated.

World of warcraft is probably the best game ive played. 3 Years I spent on it. Had 3 Level 70s and TBC ( The Burning Crusade) However only 1 80 now. And I dont play it that much now. However, For the 3 years I played it, it was money well spent, I enjoyed playing it :p
